Oxford Learning Simcoe is looking for a skilled Math and Science Teacher/Tutor to provide part time educational support. If you're passionate about teaching and helping high school students excel, we want to hear from you.
In this role, you'll work with students in Grades 9-12, focusing on areas like advanced math and the sciences. You won't need to create lesson plans; all materials are prepared for you. This in-person position requires after-school hours, along with some Saturday sessions, and a commitment through the school year is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct up to 3 students simultaneously
• Adhere to Oxford Learning instructional methods
• Complete necessary student communication updates
• Maintain detailed post-lesson notes
• Foster a positive and professional learning environment
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant teaching experience
• Tutoring background in math and science areas
• Strong written and spoken English abilities
• Capacity to multitask with students
• Vulnerable sector screening required
