What ties it all together are the friendly faces you’ll find along the way, the thoughtful amenities, and the delightful details that make every visit feel personal and unforgettable.This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer, 2026, it will be a full time seasonal role.Based at the remote Columbia Icefield in Jasper National Park, this on‑site living role places you 100 km from Jasper and surrounded by stunning glacier views and endless mountain adventure. You’ll be part of a destination that includes the Glacier View Lodge, dining outlets, retail, and the world‑famous Glacier Adventure and Skywalk. Staff live on‑site with accommodations and three hot meals per day.Housing and meals are a taxable benefitEnd‑of‑season retention bonus up to $1.00/hr

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Demonstrate a positive attitude and safety‑first approach
- Perform cleaning duties for all guest and team member areas including staff accommodation
- Cleaning duties will include all common area floors, public and staff washrooms, outdoor areas, windows, and other daily cleaning assignments




- Ensure cleaning checklists are completed and maintained daily
- Maintain garbage collection areas and help facilitate an effective recycling program through proper sorting and storage
- Ensure all cleaning supplies stock is adequate and well‑organized
- Adhere to all WHMIS and other departmental safety requirements and notify facilities supervisor of any safety hazards or concerns
- Ensure grounds are maintained and clean throughout the operating day, including shoreline areas and walking paths within our leasehold
- Daily rounds of the outdoor garbage bins and grounds to pick up trash and proper disposal of refuse
- Some general landscaping maintenance including grass cutting, trimming, leaf blowing and raking
- During peak cafeteria hours bussing of tables may be required
- Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- Work ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key
- Committed to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning standards
- Must get excited at the idea of living and working in a more remote (yet very social) environment
- Ability to lift loads of up to 50 pounds as necessary - Helpful and friendly, willing to go the extra mile
- Relaxed, flexible and able to handle a few curve balls
- A keen attention to detail and lover of organized, clean spaces




- A self‑starter who works well under low supervision, always looking for things to do and keeping a list of ideas for a slow day
- A handy individual who is not afraid to get your hands dirty
- Confidence to safely use common lawn maintenance equipment such as lawn mower, trimmer and leaf blower
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment. Be prepared for all weather (snow, rain, wind, hail)
- Must meet the organization's grooming and appearance standards

- Standard first aid or higher an asset
- The starting wage for this role is $21.50/hour
