This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer, 2026, it will be a full time seasonal role.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESDaily dispatching of tours, reacting to unforeseen changes and management of sales inventoryCreating future Columbia Icefield dispatch, troubleshooting and resolving scheduling issuesCommunication and tour orchestration with onsite Group Sales AgentsCommunication with other attractions and third-party organizationsMaintaining Vehicle tracking reports and communicating issues to Icefield ManagementMaintaining Visitor tracking reports and daily tour pax countsAdjust daily dispatch to ensure efficiency and balance across drivers and equipmentUsing Radio transmission to communicate with all Columbia Icefield business areasForecasting of equipment and group business, flagging issues with Icefield ManagementCommunicating with emergency personnel and 911 operators if an emergency occursOther duties as assignedREQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSOrganization, time management and stress handling skills are a must,



but a passion for making a difference for each guest and employee is the most important aspect of this positionMust get excited at the idea of living and working in a remote (yet very social) environmentFluent and articulate in English, able to communicate and comprehend over two-way radio, requiredAdministrative skills including intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft Excel, requiredExperience using RTP POS Software, an assetProven strength in problem solving, critical thinking, attention to detail and ability to make decisionsMust be able to react quickly and efficiently, with flexibility in mindAbility to produce morale-boosting posts for staff in regard to activities & servicesMust be able to handle High stress situations calmly and logicallyAble to adapt and adhere to change easilyGuest service-oriented mindset and an ability to work in a team environmentMust enjoy working outdoors, even in challenging mountain weather conditionsComfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in both an indoor and outdoor environment.
