The Cardiac Cath Lab Tech serves as a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures. The role functions independently during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision.

Licensure & Certification
- AART or RRT and Active NBRC credential for RRT is required
- BLS and ACLS is required
Education
- Technical or Associates in Radiology + ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology
- Associates in Respiratory + RRT (Respiratory Therapy), Active NBRC Credential for RRT + 1 year experience in Cath Lab,
Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology
- Graduate of CVT Program with no experience
- 3 years of Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education
- RCIS and/or RCES and 1 year of experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education
Experience
- 1 year related field experience
- 3 years related experience in lieu of technical training/program
