Reporting to the AVP, Philanthropy, you will lead a high-performing team dedicated to supporting Albertans facing cancer. Your responsibilities include developing regional fundraising strategies, managing major and transformational gifts, and nurturing stakeholder collaborations. With a focus on continuous growth, you will ensure a strong culture of philanthropy throughout the cancer center.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors
• Develop regional major gifts strategies aligned with Foundation priorities




• Cultivate new donor networks and expand relationships
• Provide exceptional donor experiences with high-quality engagement
• Lead and mentor a regional fundraising team
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years fundraising experience with major gifts
• Proven record of successful solicitation of five- and six-figure contributions
• Experience in capital and comprehensive campaign execution
• Robust knowledge of fundraising ethics and best practices
• Knowledge of Salesforce or similar systems
