As a Journeyperson Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic, you will engage with advanced mining equipment in a supportive team setting. Located just 90 minutes from Thunder Bay, LDI is known for its strong safety culture and commitment to employee well-being. With five years of experience, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and safety of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair on-site mobile and service equipment
• Troubleshoot issues with heavy machinery and vehicles
• Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment




• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Participate in a 14x14 rotation in a dedicated crew
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Red Seal certification in Heavy Duty Mechanics
• Minimum five years’ experience in mining or construction equipment
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Basic Underground Hard Rock Mining certification an asset
• Strong organizational skills and self-starter attitude
