What you will be doing:Reporting to the Laundry Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly serviceFollow departmental policies, procedures, and service standardsEnsure the upkeep of all Laundry/Valet areas in respect to complete care, cleanliness and maintenanceTrain and supervise all employees within Laundry/Valet departmentWork with employees on a daily basis to upgrade skills and decision makingMonitor health and safety regulations and W.

S. trainingActive supporter of hotel committeesEnsure all equipment within the department is maintained and is in good working orderGeneral office administration, which includes town contracts, payroll, scheduling,



ordering supplies and inventory controlPerformance evaluation of all Laundry/Valet colleaguesConduct and follow up on monthly communication meetingsEnsure all areas of food & beverage, housekeeping and linen closets are stocked and maintainedEnsure guest requests are dealt with in a timely mannerAssume the operations in the absence of the Laundry ManagerAdhere to the hotels vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel and guests' vehiclesFollow policies, procedures and service standardsOther duties as assignedQualificationsYour experience and skills include:Previous supervisory experience requiredLaundry experiences an assetValid Alberta driver’s license required, ability to drive standard vehicle an assetAble to work flexible hours over a 24-hour periodStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisionsMust be in valuable physical conditionExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem-solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervisorAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesAdditional InformationVisa
