This position plays a vital role in serving meals to residents at various facilities, ensuring compliance with health standards, and fostering a welcoming dining experience. You will work closely with the Food & Nutrition Services team to maintain high-quality service and cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve and present meals following best practices
• Ensure proper sanitary handling of food
• Clean kitchen and dining equipment as needed
• Provide supportive and courteous interactions with residents
• Participate in ongoing training and safety initiatives
Requirements:
• Minimum of grade ten education or equivalent
• Valid Safe Food Handling certification
• Previous food service experience, preferably in a health care setting
• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
• Availability for shifts, including weekends and holidays
