- Senior About the Position: Whish Money Canada is looking for an experienced Compliance Officer to join our team in Montréal and manage the day-to-day AML/ATF compliance function. The role requires strong hands-on Canadian compliance experience and knowledge of FINTRAC requirements.Key Tasks:* Manage and maintain the Canadian AML/ATF compliance program
* Perform transaction monitoring, investigations and escalations
* Prepare and submit FINTRAC regulatory reports, including STRs, LCTRs and EFTRs
* Manage KYC/CDD, PEP/HIO and sanctions screening and ongoing monitoring
* Review and update AML policies, procedures and risk assessments
* Maintain required compliance records and documentation
* Support FINTRAC examinations, audits and effectiveness reviews
* Monitor Canadian regulatory developments and requirements

Requirements:
* 5–7 years of Canadian AML/compliance experience
* CAMS certification
* Bilingual in English/French




* Strong knowledge of FINTRAC and PCMLTFA requirements
* Hands-on experience in transaction monitoring and regulatory reporting
* Excellent analytical, investigative and communication skills
* Legally authorized to work in CanadaNice to Have:* Experience within an MSB, remittance, payments, fintech or financial institution
* Experience supporting FINTRAC examinations or effectiveness reviewsTechnical

Skills:
* Experience with transaction monitoring and KYC/AML systems
* Familiarity with sanctions and PEP screening tools
* Experience with compliance case management and regulatory reporting systems
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
