Overview

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dealership team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers by accurately diagnosing vehicle needs, explaining repair options, and ensuring a smooth service experience. The ideal candidate will possess robust communication skills, automotive knowledge, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Experience in dealership or mechanic roles is highly valued, along with the ability to upsell services and handle cash transactions efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming environment.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues and service requests.
- Communicate effectively with technicians regarding repair needs and estimated completion times.
- Explain repair recommendations clearly, including necessary services and optional upselling opportunities.
- Prepare detailed work orders, including parts and labor estimates, ensuring accuracy for billing purposes.
- Manage cash handling transactions accurately and securely during service visits.
- Follow up with customers on vehicle status and ensure satisfaction upon completion of services.




- Maintain thorough knowledge of automotive repair procedures, dealership services, and current promotions.
- Upsell additional services or maintenance based on customer needs while maintaining integrity and transparency.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a dealership environment or mechanic background is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Proven sales ability with experience in upselling automotive services or products.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and communication.
- Professional appearance and demeanor, with a focus on providing a positive customer experience.

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
