Acme Concrete Contracting is a Métis-owned concrete contractor in Winnipeg doing commercial and residential work: City of Winnipeg spec sidewalks, garage pads, driveways, slabs, steps, landings, footings, foundations, grade beams and pile caps. We're urgently hiring experienced concrete finishers who know this kind of hands-on work. Start immediately. What you'll do: - Place, screed, bull float and trowel flatwork (City spec sidewalks, garage pads, slabs, driveways, landings) - Broom, edge and saw-cut finishes and control joints - Hand and power trowel work - Read grades and slopes and set screeds What we're looking for:



- 2+ years of concrete finishing experience in Winnipeg or the prairies - City of Winnipeg sidewalk spec experience is a plus - Your own basic hand tools - Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation - Safety-minded, on time, and willing to work early mornings on pour days - Lead hand or foreman experience is a plus What we offer: - $30 - $38/hr depending on experience (more for lead hands) - Perks after 3 months - Steady work with overtime available - Small, local crew with room to grow into a lead hand or foreman role Apply with your resume or a short note about your experience and the kinds of jobs you've done.
