Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a passion for food, excellent kitchen skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests through exact meal preparation and efficient food service.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all dishes are cooked properly and presented attractively
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Adhere to restaurant policies regarding sanitation, safety, and hygiene practices

Skills





- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food service setting
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques across various cuisines
- Excellent serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant experience is highly desirable
