We are looking for a proactive and committed person to join our team as an In-Shop Hydraulics Specialist at our Quebec City branch.
In this role, you will be responsible for assembling hydraulic and industrial hoses according to customer specifications. You will also provide support to custom fabrication services.

Responsibilities:
- Act as the subject-matter expert for the company’s hydraulic products and services
- Identify customer needs by asking targeted questions, then propose appropriate solutions
- Perform and oversee the assembly of industrial and hydraulic hoses according to customer specifications
- Ensure quality control of the work performed
- Maintain product knowledge and continue developing skills
- Ensure inventory accuracy by performing regular counts; locate parts; place orders; ship and receive merchandise
- Prepare and issue customer invoices
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Identify improvement opportunities to optimize customer service quality
- Foster a healthy, positive, and collaborative work workplace
- Follow safety procedures and protocols
- Perform any other related duties required to support operations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (an asset)
- Knowledge of principles, components, and applications in the hydraulics field
- Experience in product sales and promotion
- Strong mechanical aptitude; experience with saws, crimpers, and other hand tools
- Excellent customer service skills
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity required for this type of work
- Ability to lift up to 50 lb without assistance
