Job Overview:COMPANY PROFILE Primoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.SUMMARY The Side Boom Operator is involved in the operation of a side boom to move and set pipe. This work exists primarily outdoors and may be physically demanding.Anticipated Start Date: November 5, 2026

CNRL Horizon MaintenanceShift: 7/7 or14/14Travel: Flights provided from Edmonton and CalgaryAccommodation: Camp availableHourly Rate: $50.05 JOB DUTIES* Comply with Company and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S; standards
* Operate side boom (and various other equipment as required) in a secure and effective manner
* Move materials/equipment, snow, and dirt
* Load/unload materials
* Complete pre-job equipment inspections
* Attend required safety and tailgate/toolbox meetings
* May perform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS* Must be in possession of a valid operator’s card for the equipment utilized
* Must have 5+ years experience operating equipment on an industrial work site
* Experience working in tight spaces is considered an asset
* CSO required
* Must be physically able to lift 50lbs
* Able to work well in a team environment
* Organized and self-motivatedPre-employment alcohol and drug testing is a condition of employment.
