Walmart Canada is hiring a Front End Checkout Team Associate at their Woodstock, NB location (430 Connell St). This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service at the front end checkout, processing transactions, and supporting customers throughout their shopping experience.

Responsibilities

- Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner
- Process all purchase transactions in a timely and efficient manner, including deactivation of merchandise with respect to the EAS Program
- Promote company-sponsored programs including credit card service, product protection, and charity initiatives
- Assist customers with bagging and loading of merchandise
- Educate and support customers on the correct and efficient use of self-checkout options
- Maintain register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings




- Ensure safe work practices are followed including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area
- Refer appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager or Front End Team Lead

Minimum rate of pay starts at $16.05/hour
