Fuel/Boom Truck Driver
Tomlinson is Eastern Canada’s leader in environmental, construction and transportation infrastructure services. This position involves delivering fuel to and from job sites, fueling equipment on site, and delivering products to our clients in the eastern Ontario region.
The hours for this position are Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends. The hours may vary dependent on work load.
Location: Kingston & 401 Corridor

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Driving fuel to and from job sites in the Kingston & 401 Corridor areas
- Safely fueling equipment on job sites
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and filling out paperwork efficiently
- Maintain accurate electronic logs
- Operate an 8 ton crane
- Perform other duties as required
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Working on construction job sites
- Exposure to the elements
- Physical work – lifting
- Expect Day and Night Shifts
REQUIREMENTS:
- DZ licence is required
- AZ license is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, pull hose and climb on equipment
- Ability to operate 8 ton crane considered an asset
- 1 to 5 years of experience driving a fuel truck (TDG)
- TDG course provided
Compensation Information:
The expected hourly rate range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00. Placement within the range is dependent on a variety of factors including qualifications and experience.
