About the Client:

We're seeking a compassionate caregiver to support an 85-year-old woman in Oakville while her family takes a short trip. She is in reasonably positive health, fairly mobile around the house, and manages her own medications independently. She does not speak English and communicates in Hindi, so language compatibility is essential. This is the family's first time arranging professional care, and they're looking for someone reliable and patient to provide peace of mind during their absence.

Responsibilities:

The caregiver will visit daily to check in on the client and ensure her comfort and safety. Primary duties include reheating prepared meals and serving lunch, providing companionship, and monitoring her general well-being throughout the visit. The caregiver should be attentive to any needs that arise and communicate with the family as needed. Light assistance with meal service and gentle reminders are key aspects of this role.

What We're Looking For:

We need a caregiver who is calm, patient, reliable, and consistent. Hindi language fluency is required to communicate effectively with the client. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting seniors, demonstrate a warm and respectful demeanor, and be comfortable working independently. The family values clear communication and someone who can provide reassurance during their time away. This is a short-term arrangement, but there may be opportunities for future care if the match is successful.

Schedule:

This is a four-day assignment from Friday,



October 23rd through Monday, October 26th, 2026. The caregiver will visit once daily during midday hours, approximately between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, with visits lasting around two hours. The family will be present on the first day (Friday) to meet the caregiver, review routines, and answer any questions. The caregiver should notify the family upon arrival and departure each day via text or phone call.

The client lives with her son and daughter-in-law in Oakville. She is independent with personal care, mobility, and medication management. The home environment is supportive and welcoming. This temporary care arrangement is designed to give the family a brief respite while ensuring their mother receives attentive, culturally appropriate support.
