Key Responsibilities: - Manage RFQ log with the MSM administrator. - Work with other departments to set up an initial quote meeting and distribute the required information for the completion of quotes. - Request, gather, and input the information that is required from all designated channels to complete the various steps that are mandatory in the quoting process. - Review quotes with the program manager(s) and management for approval. - Assemble customer required breakdown forms and cost models. Maintain consistency. - Communicate with the APQP and/or program manager on customer issues. - Co-ordinate and update the tracking and/or logging of outstanding financial issues. Assist the accounting department in solving financial issues as required. - Administer and maintain communication with customers as required. - Update and maintain customer specific databases and forms. - Co-ordinate VA/VE activity. Initiate workshops, assemble ideas, quotes, and tracking implementation. - Create and maintain the piece price matrix form, piece price tracking form, tooling tracking form, and quote versus actual analysis form. - Maintain customer correspondence and quote file maintenance. - Follow all departmental and general procedures where applicable. - Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager and/or Department Manager.



- Abide by all company safety rules, responsibilities, policies, and procedures including the legislative requirements of the OHSA. - Work in compliance and conform to the Environment and ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 standards. - Adopt and practice Kaizen principles; participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities. Basic Requirements: - Completion of a college diploma in a related field (i.e. business, professional sales, sales and marketing). - Minimum of 3 years of business or sales related experience in a manufacturing workplace. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast paced, technically demanding environment. - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; must be a clear, concise and persuasive communicator.
