Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Preventative Maintenance Sales Representative to join our team! In this energetic role, you will be the driving force behind expanding our preventative maintenance services through proactive outreach, strategic relationship building with property managers, building owners and municipal stakeholders. Your enthusiasm for outside sales will help you build strong relationships with clients, identify new opportunities, and deliver tailored solutions that keep their operations running smoothly.

Duties

- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to promote preventative maintenance services within assigned territories, focusing on business development and lead generation. ( Fire Alarm Systems, Sprinkler systems, Suppression and special hazard systems, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, monitoring and safety equipment)
- Conduct outbound cold calls, face-to-face meetings, and product demos to prospective clients, showcasing the value of preventative maintenance solutions.
- Manage existing accounts through regular follow-ups, upselling additional services, and ensuring customer satisfaction via excellent customer service.
- Identify new market opportunities by analyzing industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to expand territory sales.
- Utilize CRM software to track leads, manage customer interactions, and maintain accurate sales records.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to close deals that meet both client needs and company goals.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that generate recent leads and increase brand awareness in the territory.




- Provide technical product demonstrations, explain service benefits clearly, and tailor solutions to meet client-specific requirements.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in selling preventative maintenance in the fire and life safety industry.
- Strong working knowledge of Fire safety codes, standards and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
- Experience dealing with property managers, municipal officials, and building owners
- Organized, process-oriented, and committed to structured sales execution
- Excellent communication, presentation, and follow-through skills
- A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to cold call confidently and build lasting client relationships.
