Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Product Specialist / Service Technician to join our forestry service department team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Log Max harvesting heads, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties

- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and troubleshooting on harvesters using schematics and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on our various products infield and by phone.
- Perform Pre-Delivery inspections of equipment.
- Perform installations and start-up support of our products on various carriers.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs efficiently and safely.
- Utilize computers and simulators to diagnose and repair customer equipment.
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings clearly to customers.




- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality control procedures.
- Travel to customer locations throughout the Maritime Provinces and Ontario as required to service and support our customers on the various products that we sell.

Experience

- Prior dealership experience is highly preferred, especially with the Log Max product
- Red Seal Heavy Equipment Certificate or proven experience in heavy equipment repair, diagnostics, electrical systems and hydraulics is an asset.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.

Pay: $65,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
