Responsibilities

- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using dental management software TRACKER.
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle inquiries, appointment requests, and patient communications
- Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical records accurately
- Collect payments, process billing, and handle financial transactions at the front desk
- Maintain organized patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, faxing, and data entry
- Ensure the reception area is tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
- Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate smooth clinic operations and patient flow

Skills

- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role within a dental or medical office setting
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Dentrix and Epic; familiarity with electronic medical records systems




- Robust knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and healthcare environments
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and scheduling
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced office environment with administrative responsibilities
- Knowledge of insurance verification processes and billing procedures is preferred
