Location : Place Riel, University of Saskatchewan Campus
Hours : Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm (ideally 40 hours/week; minimum 32 hours considered). Closed evenings, weekends, statutory holidays, and during the University of Saskatchewan Winter Break (approx. Dec 25 to Jan 1 each year).
About Us
Campus Medicine Shoppe is located on the University of Saskatchewan campus and provides pharmacy services to students, staff, faculty, and the broader community. We are committed to delivering secure and reliable pharmacy care in a welcoming, respectful, inclusive, and community-minded environment.
We work closely with the Student Wellness Centre and are members of the Huskie Athletics Health Care Coalition. Our pharmacy fills an average of 125 prescriptions per day, with busier periods during the university academic year and vaccination season, and a slightly slower pace during the summer months.
We use modern dispensing technology including a CountAssist automated counting machine, online and app refill services, and McKesson’s Propel paperless dispensing system.
Position Overview
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a pharmacy assistant or technician
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Positive attitude, adaptability and teamwork skills
- Working knowledge of SPDP and third-party billing
- Experience with Propel is a strong asset but not required
