Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Maintenance Technician / Handyman (Part-Time) to support a large residential property (100+ units) in Vancouver. This position focuses on high-volume, day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs across occupied units and common areas. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is hands-on, efficient, and comfortable managing multiple small tasks independently in a fast-paced residential environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance and complete work orders across multiple residential units.
- Carry out minor plumbing repairs, including leaks, faucets, toilets, and drains.
- Conduct basic electrical work such as replacing light fixtures, switches, and minor troubleshooting.
- Repair doors, cabinets, hinges, sliding tracks, and general hardware.
- Complete caulking, sealing, patching, and other minor surface repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of units and common areas; identify and report maintenance issues.
- Communicate professionally with tenants regarding access and repair updates.
- Coordinate with external trades for specialized or licensed work as required.
- Support seasonal maintenance, including salting and snow removal during winter months.




- Maintain general cleanliness and upkeep of the property, including light debris removal.
- Assist with unit turnovers and preparation when needed.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in residential maintenance or general handyman work.
- Strong ability to manage multiple small tasks efficiently and prioritize workload.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Professional and respectful when interacting with tenants and team members.
- Availability to work 2-3 days per week on a consistent schedule.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle preferred.
- Must supply basic tools required for day-to-day maintenance tasks.
