Your responsibilities will include:

- Participating in the acquisition process
- Updating financial models
- Assisting in preparing presentations and materials for internal stakeholders
- Support in preparing legal and transactional documents
- Obtaining necessary documentation for transactions, reviewing accuracy, and ensuring follow-up
- Preparing reports needed for different projects using BI tools
- Help with performing financial forecasts, analysis, and documentation review of business plans




- Assisting in organizing the logistics of fund exchanges
- Ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting in the pipeline
- Assisting in collection of information for Due diligence team

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- 0-1 years of internship or work experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, and/or corporate development
- CFA, CPA and/or CBV designation completed or in progress, an asset
- Knowledge of the M&A; processes, including pre-LOI analysis, deal structuring, deal negotiation, due diligence
- Robust understanding of financial concepts such as profitability, financing, net present value, and business valuation principles
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent communication in both English and French, both orally and in writing. In your role, you will have to work with internal clients across Canada on an ongoing basis.
