Legendary Hospitality is a locally owned hospitality group operating several of Halifax’s most well-known venues, including Antojo Taco + Tequila, The Stubborn Goat, Sketti & Ball Co., Durty Nelly’s, Sweet & Salty, Salt Yard, and The BG .

We’re looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial records across our multi-venue operation and support ownership with accurate reporting, reconciliations, and payroll support.

What You’ll Do

- Post daily sales and deposits for multiple venues
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, POS reports, and merchant statements
- Manage accounts payable, invoice coding, and vendor communications
- Support or process bi-weekly payroll, ROEs, and WCB reporting
- Prepare HST filings and assist with remittances
- Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
- Perform monthly reconciliations and basic financial reporting
- Prepare year-end working papers for external accountants
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
- Identify discrepancies and help improve bookkeeping processes

What We’re Looking For

- 3-5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Hospitality or multi-unit experience strongly preferred




- Proficiency with QuickBooks (or similar software)
- Experience with payroll systems (Ceridian, PowerPay, etc.)
- Experience in Google Domains including Google sheets & Docs
- Experience with inventory systems (e.g. Margin Edge)
- Familiarity with hospitality POS systems (e.g. Aloha, Sona, Clover, Elavon) is an asset
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
- Professional, reliable, and discreet

Salary & Benefits

$50,000 - $70,000 per year , depending on experience

- Full time, year-round position
- Two (2) weeks paid vacation
