Oxford Learning Simcoe is looking for a skilled Math and Science Teacher/Tutor to provide part-time educational support. If you're passionate about teaching and helping high school students excel, we want to hear from you.
In this role, you'll work with students in Grades 9-12, focusing on areas like advanced math and the sciences. You won't need to create lesson plans; all materials are prepared for you. This in-person position requires after-school hours, along with some Saturday sessions, and a commitment through the school year is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct up to 3 students simultaneously
• Adhere to Oxford Learning instructional methods
• Complete necessary student communication updates
• Maintain detailed post-lesson notes
• Foster a positive and professional learning workplace
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant teaching experience
• Tutoring background in math and science areas
• Strong written and spoken English abilities
• Capacity to multitask with students
• Vulnerable sector screening required
