Take the lead as a Project Exploration Engineer/Geologist at the Éléonore Mine Site. This role focuses on managing exploration projects, requiring significant technical expertise and independence.
The successful candidate will supervise field teams and implement systematic exploration programs, including mapping and drilling. Your experience in geological modeling, data interpretation, and project management will be pivotal in driving investment decisions and advancing mining development stages.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and execute comprehensive exploration programs
• Supervise geological surveys, sampling, and mapping
• Integrate data to define and refine exploration targets
• Lead and mentor junior staff and contractors
• Prepare and present technical reports to stakeholders
Requirements:
• University degree in Geology or Geological Engineering
• Minimum 5 years in mining industry experience
• Proficient in MDM (Deswik), GED, and ArcGIS
• Bilingualism considered an asset
• Member or eligible for geological engineering associations
