COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Established in 1979, Toro Aluminum has became a leader in the development and manufacturing of window walls and doors for high-rise condominiums, office buildings and hotels, across Canada, the United States, and Mexico.

REPORTING

The Draftsperson reports directly to the CAD Manager at Toro Aluminum.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Produce accurate shop drawings usingAutoCAD/REVIT , in compliance with contract documents, project specifications, and company standards.
- Review and implementarchitectural revisions, ASIs, SKs, and engineer/client comments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure drawings comply withapplicable building codes and standards relevant to window wall systems.




- Support theengineering review and stamping process by addressing comments and updating drawings accordingly.
- Participate inBluebeam sessions and internal reviews as required.
- Assist withas-built drawings and updates based on site conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Proficiency inAutoCAD/Revit.
- Experience withwindow wall- 3+ years of experience
- Curtain wall, or façade systems experience considered as asset.
- Robust understanding ofshop drawing production and coordination workflows .
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team.

Salary Range: $50,000- $100,000
