Job Description:
Seeking an Automation Engineer / Programmer to support aerospace inspection automation using Python, 3D scanning, and metrology tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Python scripts to process XML, YAML, CSV, and TXT files.
- Automate inspection workflows using GOM and PolyWorks.
- Generate Excel reports and dashboards.
- Support 3D scanning, inspection planning, and reporting automation.
Required Skills:
- Robust Python skills, including Pandas, pip, and virtual environments.
- Basic Git/GitHub knowledge.
- Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T;, and mechanical design.
- Knowledge of 3D geometry, point clouds, STL files, or metrology tools is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Software, or a related field.
Note: Must be bilingual in French and English and available to work onsite in Longueuil, Québec.
