Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker specializing in order picking to join our dynamic distribution team. This role involves accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment within a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse operations, heavy equipment, and inventory management systems, ensuring efficient and secure handling of goods from the warehouse to delivery.

Duties

- Pick and pack customer orders with precision, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes to load and unload materials
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and update order statuses
- Load and unload shipments efficiently, adhering to safety protocols
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and inventory control
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs

Requirements

- Prior experience in warehouse distribution, order picking,



or related roles is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge or construction experience is a plus for understanding equipment operation
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, and other warehouse machinery
- Strong attention to detail for accurate order selection and packing
- Ability to lift heavy loads regularly and perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting
- Experience in shipping & receiving processes and load & unload procedures
- Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse safety protocols
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
