We are a family in Calgary looking for a reliable, warm and proactive part-time nanny and household helper to provide regular support during weekday evenings and one day on the weekend. We are hoping to find the right person to start as soon as possible.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and is equally comfortable helping with the day-to-day responsibilities of running a household. This is a long-term position for someone who can become a trusted and consistent part of our family routine.

Schedule

- Approximately 15–20 hours per week
- 3–4 weekday evenings
- One weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
- Some flexibility for occasional additional hours or schedule adjustments with advance notice

Responsibilities

This position combines childcare and household support, including:

- Engaging our young child in age-appropriate activities, reading, creative play and learning.
- Assisting with dinner, bath and evening routines as needed.
- General household cleaning, tidying and organization.
- Laundry, folding and putting clothes away.
- Preparing straightforward family meals and assisting with meal preparation.
- Kitchen cleaning and maintaining organized living spaces.
- Helping us stay on top of routine household responsibilities.
- Occasional additional babysitting, subject to availability.





We are also expecting another child and would ideally like someone who has experience with both young children and infants and is interested in growing with our family.

Our Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is dependable, patient, organized and genuinely enjoys working with children. Initiative and independence are particularly important to us. We value someone who can manage their responsibilities confidently, recognize what needs to be done and contribute to maintaining a calm, well-organized home.

Previous childcare experience and the ability to balance childcare with household responsibilities are essential. Infant experience is an asset. References are required, and First Aid/CPR certification is preferred or a willingness to obtain it.

A driver's licence and reliable transportation would be an asset.
