Meridian Hills Golf & Wine Club is seeking friendly, energetic and motivated persons to assist customers with golf and food & beverage requirements. This position requires a person to be a "jack of all trades." Since we have a small clubhouse/golf shop/kitchen, a single person will handle most of a customer's experience. This person, while on shift, is required to serve the golfer at reception as well as provide simple food and beverage requirements.
Duties Include
- Collecting green fees from daily customers
- Merchandising and selling of golf related items
- Making golf reservations and organizing the first tee
- Merchandising and selling of Food & Beverage items
- General Cleaning Duties - Kitchen, Bathroom, eating/sitting area.
- Prepare and deliver food from simple menu
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- Positive customer service and telephone skills
- The ability to communicate clearly in English. Written & spoken
- Golf knowledge is considered an asset
- Previous kitchen and serving experience is an asset
- Must be available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays if required.
- Able to work independently and unsupervised
- Must have or be willing to obtain Food Safe and Serving it Right certificates
- Basic computer skills
- Reliable transportation
