Job Responsibility: Job Profile: Patient Care Coordinator Reports to: Patient Care Manager Hours: 1.0FTE, 40 hours per week, Temporary Full-Time. 10:30am-7:00pm Monday-Friday with some Saturday & Sunday availability as needed on a rotational basis. STAT Availability may be required in the future if required for the needs of the business. Location: Remote Closing Date: May 30, 2024 We are looking for a Temporary Full-Time Patient Care Coordinator. As a patient care coordinator, you play an integral role in ensuring that our patients and referring physicians are comfortable and welcomed into Insight Medical Imaging. As the first point of contact, you will ensure that we can continue to provide reliable, accurate and compassionate services to our patients, referring physicians and our employees. This is a remote position and will require you to work from home in a distraction-free environment. Provide valuable feedback in the Development and implementation of protocols as directed by the Patient Care Manager and other administrative staff within the Organization. Check incoming Faxes and contact Physicians and Patients for medical Imaging appointments. Call out to patients as directed by the Patient Care Manager to rebook, confirm, or fill appointments as required. Attend team meetings and information sessions in the Department and within the organization as required. Provide professional, courteous, and timely patient care to all patients and physicians. Other duties as assigned. Medical Assistant Diploma or Medical Terminology Certificate with a minimum of 1-year experience in related field. Equivalencies will be considered. High Volume Contact Center Experience is required.
