Job Summary Our Client , is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Installation Technician to join their dynamic team. In this entry-level position, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the construction industry and a willingness to learn, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with experienced technicians to ensure high-quality installations.
Duties
- Assist in the installation of equipment and systems according to specifications and safety standards.
- Support senior technicians in troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working in various environments.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to provide updates on project status.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge of products.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Basic understanding of the construction/glass industry
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, in English and French, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to learn new techniques related to installations.
- Not Afraid Of climbing ladders or of heights
- Valid driver's license may be required for travel to job sites.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
