Responsibilities

Participate in the full software and product development lifecycle for video surveillance solutions.

Develop software involving IP cameras, streaming protocols, camera SoCs, and image/video AI models.

Apply TCP/IP networking and multithreaded programming.

Troubleshoot software and product issues and contribute strong problem-solving skills.

Requirements

- 5+ years of software development experience in a Unix/Linux environment.
- Experience with IP cameras, streaming protocols, and IP camera SoCs.
- Experience with image and video AI models, including object detectors, classifiers, VLMs, and LLMs.
- Experience with C, C++, Java, and scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
- Solid background in TCP/IP networking and multithreaded programming.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience administering virtualization platforms such as KVM, Xen, or VMware is a plus.




- Excellent written and verbal communication, troubleshooting, motivation, and problem-solving skills.
