Provide primary care in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
Simple and advanced wound care, including complex and negative pressure wounds
Chronic Disease Management, e.g. diabetes care and education
IV therapy and CVAD management
Phlebotomy and specimen collection
Dialysis Management
Palliative and End of Life Care
And many other critical nursing skills
Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the province of practice
Community health experience is an asset
Must enjoy driving, have a personal vehicle and possess both a current driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
A satisfactory Criminal Records Check is required; a Vulnerable Sector Search and/or Child Abuse Registry Check may also be necessary
Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
This role requires a detail-oriented approach in a dynamic setting, with physical activity including lifting, carrying (using proper techniques), bending, reaching, kneeling, and other movements that emphasize good body mechanics.
