TownePlace Suites by Marriott Ottawa Kanata has an existing part-time vacancy for a Guest Service Agent (Saturdays and Sundays are required). The Guest Service Agent is expected to promote a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly, and able to address guest requests and problems.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager or designate, you will:
Maintain proper operation of Front Desk telephones, be familiar with daily sell rates;
Balance and prepare individual paperwork for closing of shift with hotel standards;
Work closely and maintain proper communication with all hotel departments;
Handle guest check-ins/check-outs in accordance with hotel credit/cash handling policies in an effective and friendly manner;
Resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, in-house events, directions, local attractions, check cashing, gift shop, safety boxes etc.;
Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or department manager.

High school diploma/G.At least 1 year of guest service and/or housekeeping experience;
Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and products;
Flexible working hours;
Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards;
