Now, we are partnering with them in search of a Senior Accountant to join their team in Halifax.

You will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial analysis to ensure the organization has the best information to assist with strategical decision making. You will support the Controller by producing the month, quarter and years ends, mastering the financial reporting and general ledgers, and assisting with forecasting and budgeting activities. Maintaining multiple general ledgers
Transaction review and coding
Project cost analysis as required
Interacting with auditors and preparation of year-end audit files
Assisting with special projects as required

Advanced computer skills (accounting software and MS Office)





- Flexibility to work on projects as a team member and also independently
- Professional accounting designation or working towards completion, will be considered an asset
