ARROW Utilities, a Capital Region Commission is a regional services Commission providing wastewater transmission and treatment to nearly 400,000 people in 13 municipalities surrounding the City of Edmonton. Our mission is to provide safe, reliable, cost efficient, and environmentally responsible wastewater transmission and treatment service. We are hiring one (1) permanent full-time dual ticket Electrical/Instrumentation Technician OR Electrician to join our Operations and Maintenance (O&M;) team. Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment.

Maintaining and troubleshooting DCS, PLCs and network communication devices for both hardware and software.

Calibrating analyzers and transmitters, performing maintenance activities on all I&E; equipment as required.

Diagnose electrical faults and perform preventative and corrective maintenance.

Interpreting wiring, loop drawings, and specifications for installation, modification, or repair of equipment/instrumentation.

Experience with motors, motor controls, VFD’s, PLCs, Delta V, and industrial control systems is an asset.

Collaborate with engineering, procurement,



and operations on planning, materials, and other projects.

An Instrumentation/Electrician or Electrician Journeyperson ticket with interprovincial designation is preferred but not required. Dual tickets will be considered an asset.

A valid Alberta Class 5 Motor Vehicle Operator’s License with 6 or fewer demerits.

The ability to manage shifting priorities, with robust planning and organizational skills.

Experience with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word).

Ability to work under minimal supervision, exercise good judgment, and take initiative.

Evening and weekend work may occasionally be required and will be compensated with applicable overtime rate.

The salary range for this position is $53.16 to $57.49 per hour and will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications. We provide a comprehensive benefits package, paid time off, and eligibility for the Local Authorities Pension Plan.
