Drive the development of Early Recreational Programs at Westside Recreation Centre, fostering engaging experiences for children ages 2-6. This part-time role involves both leadership and hands-on program delivery. As the Children’s Programs Lead, you will be at the forefront of creating cutting-edge activities that spark joy and learning for kids. This role encompasses supervising staff, implementing comprehensive programming, and maintaining a safe, enjoyable environment for families. The balance of in-field and administrative tasks is key to this position, ensuring the highest standards of service and safety. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation and execution of programs and events
- Deliver hands-on instruction for children's activities
- Manage staff functions,



including recruitment and training
- Perform necessary administrative duties and paperwork
- Oversee safety and maintenance protocols for equipment Requirements:
- Minimum three years of early education and recreation experience
- Supervisory experience of at least two years
- First Aid certification from an Alberta approved agency
