You'll also spend some time (about 20%) in the office, helping with documentation, tracking,



and reporting—so no two days are the same! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being active, working outdoors, and taking pride in keeping operations running smoothly!What you're responsible forIdentifying inbound material grades, non-conformities, non-recyclable and hazardous material in inbound loadsEffectively and successfully training productivity, quality control and safety measures as established and set for the Inspection TeamFacilitating and directing trucks to correct yard locations in an efficient mannerPerforming Daily Checks (Pile Quality, Truck Inspection, Gate Cleanliness, Overnight Loads)Providing feedback to production about material quality or sale specificationsCoordinating quick action for loads that need to be sorted and dealt with in a timely fashionCommunicating with supervisors and commercial team about downgrades and deductionsAssisting in the implementation of training programs to train external team members on quality and proceduresReviewing outbound sales to ensure quality specifications are metQualificationsYou are experienced in working around heavy equipmentYou are comfortable with working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditionsYou have strong attention to detail and good work ethicYou have a high school diploma or equivalentYou have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)You have strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
