As Millwright, your keen eye for detail and technical expertise is applied to solve and repair challenging mechanical problems to help create and maintain a secure environment for us to deliver and process premium seafood for our customers around the world!Responsibilities:Installing and repairing all production, utility, and processing equipmentSupporting our Operating Engineers in performing regular preventive maintenance on equipmentIncluding repairs and maintenance of machinery such as:Freezer systemsFish unloading and delivery systemsCooled production areasInstalling and training plant staff on all new equipmentPerforming and documenting regular equipment inspectionsWelding and fabricating custom partsCollaborating with Operating Engineers to ensure machinery is in working orderSome overtime on short notice may be requiredQualifications:BC Trade qualification as a Millwright (you are certified in British Columbia)Experience working with plant pressure equipment such as boilers, cooling systems, and refrigerationStrong communication with an ability to interact with all members of a diverse teamExperience and knowledge of general plant maintenance in a food processing environment is an assetWillingness to work flexible hours as needed (i.E., Monday to Friday / Tuesday to Saturday)Knowledge and experience in the fishing, food processing, or manufacturing industry is an assetExtended medical and dental benefitsOpportunity to learn new skills and grow your career
