The Project Manager is located on site and reports directly to the Division Manager.Project Managers plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate assigned project(s) from start to finish and in accordance with schedule, specifications and budget. Their primary focus is safety, planning, monitoring progress, scheduling, quality, costs management, estimating, reporting, and managing project change under the direction of senior leadership. Duties and responsibilities include:Provide leadership for assigned project regarding cost, schedule, quality, safety, and contract performanceEstablish project objectives, policies,



procedures and performance standards as per company policy and contract specificationsEstablish and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders including Black & McDonald team members, clients, consultants, joint venture partners, trades, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and the community, while keeping them informed of relevant informationPlan, prepare, monitor, and manage construction schedule and milestonesEnsure work is performed in compliance with applicable standards – ie. Construction Management or Project ManagementExperience with projects involving chillers, boilers, and cooling towers and other mechanical base building infrastructure1‐2 years estimating on ICI or Tenant mechanical projectsSKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTSIntermediate knowledge and understanding of:Construction scheduling, planning, and executionProject structural design interpretationEstablished division practices, procedures and techniquesBusiness operations processesOrganization and time managementIntermediate user of:MS Office (Word, Excel, Project)Procore, Plangrid or like PM software, JD Edwards or an Oracle‐based ERP system is an assetThe expected salary range for this role is between $80,000 - $110,000 per year. The starting salary will be determined based on several factors such as the successful candidate's qualifications, including but not limited to education and experience. Base pay is one component of Black & McDonald's total rewards package.
