Our technicians benefit from manufacturer training, collectively bargained compensation, employer pension contributions, health and welfare benefits, a weekly guarantee, and tool insurance.The RoleThe Automotive Service Technician inspects, diagnoses, maintains, and repairs customer and dealership vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications, industry standards, and dealership procedures.This is a unionized position at Sault Nissan represented by IAMAW Automotive Lodge 2332 and governed by the applicable Collective Agreement.What You'll DoInspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systemsPerform scheduled maintenance and manufacturer-recommended servicesUse diagnostic equipment and technical resources to identify vehicle concernsComplete authorized customer-pay, internal, warranty, and promotional work using the applicable flat-rate timesDocument inspection findings, diagnostic results, repairs, parts requirements, and recommendationsCommunicate additional repair or maintenance requirements to the Service AdvisorPerform road tests and final inspections, where appropriateMaintain expected productivity, quality, and safety standardsComplete required Nissan Canada University training and technical examinationsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaWork collaboratively with Service, Parts, technicians,
