QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And Experience Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant and three years' recent related acute care clinical experience.

Evidence of an IPAC Canada approved infection control course completed or expected to be complete within 6 months of the start date.

Knowledge of the interrelationships between Acute, Long-Term Care, Community Health and Public Health Resources in the health delivery system.

Robust working knowledge of program development and implementation and performance measures.

Valid Class 5 vehicle license.

Skills And Abilities Advanced communication, writing, presentation, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Comprehensive knowledge of current clinical practices and methodologies.





Ability to critique, organize and analyze information.

Demonstrated ability to effectively introduce, implement, and evaluate new policies and procedures.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Ability to organize and prioritize work while managing competing priorities in a dynamic healthcare environment under the guidance of experienced IPAC team members.

Ability to operate related equipment, including computer software applications.

Conflict management skills.

Physically able to carry out the duties of the position.
