Sales Coordinator – Building Materials Acheson, AB | $55,000–$65,000 | Full-Time, Permanent The Opportunity DMC Recruitment is working with an established Alberta building materials manufacturer looking to add a Sales Coordinator to its team in Acheson.

If you have experience in lumber, building materials, inside sales, contractor sales, construction or order coordination , this could be a great opportunity to take the next step in your career.

This position is all about keeping things organized, supporting customers and making sure orders and projects move smoothly from start to finish.

You'll work alongside an experienced team supporting residential and commercial construction projects involving lumber, roof trusses, engineered wood products and other building components.

You don't need to be an expert in trusses or engineered wood products.

We're looking for someone with a valuable understanding of building materials, strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

What You'll Be Doing Support the sales team with quotes, customer inquiries and order processing.

Coordinate customer orders and construction projects from start to finish.

Review material lists, construction plans and order details for accuracy.

Work with sales, design, production and shipping teams to keep projects on schedule.

Communicate with customers regarding orders, changes and delivery timelines.

Help resolve order discrepancies and customer questions.





Track multiple orders and projects while keeping information organized and up to date.

Ensure customers receive accurate information and excellent service.

What We're Looking For We're interested in speaking with candidates who have experience in any of the following areas: Lumberyards or building materials distribution Inside sales or contractor sales Sales support or order coordination Construction administration or project coordination Estimating, trusses or engineered wood products You'll also bring: Strong communication and customer service skills.

Excellent organization and attention to detail.

The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.

Confidence working with customers and internal teams.

Good computer skills and a willingness to learn new systems.

An understanding of construction drawings, takeoffs or material lists would be an asset.
