Job Summary: The Intermediate Software Developer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting application components based on technical specifications and user stories.

This role involves coding, testing, integration, deployment, defect resolution, and documentation within a cloud-based microservice architecture environment.

The developer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and follows coding standards and best practices to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Java application features according to approved designs and coding standards.

Create and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and functionality.

Troubleshoot and resolve defects, supporting system, integration, and user acceptance testing.

Participate in code reviews and implement feedback from senior developers.

Support deployment, configuration, and build activities in cloud-based environments.

Maintain technical documentation and implementation notes.

Provide development estimates, progress updates, and escalate technical risks or blockers.

Collaborate effectively with developers, analysts, architects, testers, and designers.

Required Skills: 5+ years of experience developing complex enterprise or public-facing applications.

Proficient in Java development with experience in user interfaces, APIs, services, integrations, and databases.

Experience developing and deploying applications in cloud-based environments, specifically Microsoft Azure.





Solid knowledge of automated testing, including unit tests for user interfaces, APIs, and databases.

Familiarity with source control, build, deployment, and configuration management tools.

Desired Skills: Understanding of secure coding, accessibility, privacy, and application performance considerations.

Experience working within Agile or iterative delivery teams.

Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to communicate technical status, risks, and issues clearly.
