Summary: Location: Toronto, Canada This role is for an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities: Work with Applications Development professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for the team.

Oversee process for technical issue escalation and prioritize technical issue resolution.

Leverage skills across Applications Development area to provide technical oversight across systems and applications.

Resolve issues using in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within applications development.

Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues.

Contribute to planning, budget management, formulation of procedures, and resource planning.

Design and develop web-based applications, cloud services in Angular/Java/Spring/Open

Shift stack.

Provide leadership in research, design and implementing improvements to platform technology solutions.

Requirements: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Experience in leading and implementing successful projects.

Ability to take ownership and make technical decisions on software development projects.

Experience with dependency management, change management, continuous integration testing tools, and audit/compliance requirements.

Extensive knowledge of software engineering and object-oriented design.

Proficient in industry standard best practices such as Design Patterns,



Coding Standards, Coding modularity, Prototypes etc.

Experience working with SOA & Micro-services utilizing REST.

Experienced in RDBMS and SQL/PLSQL.

Experienced in writing tests using frameworks JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, Rest

Assured.

Understanding of the SDLC lifecycle for Agile & Waterfall methodologies.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Skills: Proven background in developing large distributed systems to address complex business problems.

Rich experience and solid ability in both backend and front-end development, proficiency in programming languages like Java, React, or Angular.

Keen to produce well-crafted software living up to highest quality standards.

Enthusiastic in learning and adopting industry-leading technologies into work.

Ability to work independently with ownership to estimation and timeline.

Self-motivated and with determination to achieve goals.

Good team working skills and ability to work in a virtual team environment.

Experience with Kafka.

Experience in debugging, tuning, and optimizing UI components.
