Education: Other trades certificate or diploma Experience: Experience an asset Tasks Analyze hair and scalp condition Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences Shampoo customers' hair Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening and tinting and also provide scalp conditioning massages Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair Apply hair extensions Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair Suggest hair style compatible with client's physical features and preferences Support for newcomers and refugees Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work setting for newcomers and/or refugees Support for Indigenous people Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
