Presently, Leon's is looking for talented applicants for the position of Receiving Supervisor. RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that product is properly received into the warehouse, damage free and within set time schedules
Oversee all shipping and receiving functions to ensure a smooth, efficient warehouse operation
Develop associates through coaching, goal-setting and conducting performance reviews
Coordinate the maintenance of equipment; ensure associates perform pre-shift equipment checks




Ensure that Health and Safety, material handling and security policies and procedures are adhered to by all associates
Review recent count sheets system and logs; investigate and resolve receiving or inventory discrepancies
Unload and put away merchandise
Ensure Lockup is kept secure at all times
Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment such as lift trucks
Assist with loading/unloading of delivery trucks
Manage storage and disposal of packing materials; recycling as appropriate
Support the training and development of warehouse associates
Ensure merchandise is moved with care to prevent damage
